Operations Engineer

Heath Sloan is an Operations Engineer at Scale Microgrids where he works together with teams internally and externally to ensure the assets performance, maximize their availability, and improve their overall operational efficiency. Prior to joining Scale, Heath served as the Operations and Maintenance Manager for Key Capture Energy in Albany, New York. And before that, as the Remote Operations Center (ROC) Supervisor for Aggreko out of Austin, Texas. In both roles he was responsible for the operations and maintenance of utility level generation facilities around the globe and participated in numerous energy markets on a 24/7/365 basis. Before his career in the clean tech industry, Heath served as an active-duty soldier in the US Army. During his time there he worked in the Army Corp of Engineers as a subject matter expert (SME) for the National Response Framework facilitating power restoration during natural disasters and emergencies, and within the National Security Defense Program ensuring power generation for facilities of strategic importance.
