Clay Meyer

Clay Meyer is a Business Development Manager at Scale Microgrids, focusing on expanding Scale's footprint in the North East region of the US. Before joining Scale, Clay spent 3.5 years in the utility-scale transmission space at Smart Wires working on Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Over the course of his career, Clay has worked with electric utilities, IPPs, ISOs/RTOs, and grid-enhancing technology providers to deploy innovative energy technologies and accelerate the clean energy transition. While completing his master's in Sustainability Science and Practice at Stanford University, he gained experience working in the energy access space at the United Nations Foundation and United Nations Development Program. Clay has a B.S. in Atmosphere/Energy Engineering from Stanford University.
